The best thing about this bike it is foldable. We have two of them (P7 and P8)and both bikes go into our Altima trunk. No hatch or rack necessary. Very comfy to ride. Fast enough to ride on Vancouver streets. Occasionally I wish to have more speed (rode along with friend on a road bike in Landner). It goes uphill easier then my third (inexpensive) mountain bike. My wife and I started to ride more often. Whenever we stop people always ask us where we bought the bikes; so thanks to Marie we got them. I would really recommend talking to Marie from New West Cap's Bicycle store if you have more questions. He is great sales person and knows these bikes well.
I use my Speed P8 everday for my commute to work. I start my day by taking the Metro Rail. This bike is perfect for this type of application. The Metro Rail parking lot is huge! I can park at the very end of the lot (the only place u can find parking most times), pop my bike out, and ride it to the rail station in no time. Once there, I fold her down, take her on the train w/ me, and the bike is not in the way of other commuters. Once I reach my destination, I unfolder her and ride 2 miles to work. It takes about 10 minutes w/ traffic & lights. It's an enjoyable ride. The bike looks cool. It's easy to use and handle. It's light weight and compact. I work very close to LAX airport and the roads are horrible, but the Speed P8 handles any kind of road condition very well. The only negative aspect is the rigidity of the frame. Sometimes when you're moving fast and you hit a pot hole, you can feel it. But that is minor compared to its other benefits. I would recommend this bike to those looking for a good ride to work, around campus, to run errands, ride around town, or for leisure.
