new favourite - Tropical Punch Review by lonerunman Overall
I have come to rely on Ultragen for fast and effective recovery from my tough workouts, but was running out - it was time to order new supplies. I had used Cappuccino and Orange Cream in the past and loved those flavours (especially the Cap!), but the only thing available at the time was Tropical Punch....

I was a bit dubious, because every time I have had "tropical" anything in a sports drink before, it is that disgusting red-coloured stuff that always tastes too sweet and fake. However, knowing that First Endurance focuses on pure ingredients, and that every other FE product I have tried tasted great, I put my faith in them and waited to see what their red tropical drink tasted like.

I mixed a bottle up after my recent 50k trail race, and much to my pleasant surprise, it turned orange - and better yet, it was a delicious citrus fruit mix as opposed to the not-found-in-nature red tropical stuff of the various other "Sport-Ade" drinks. It tasted awesomely refreshing, and I finished the bottle wishing I had some more. Like that, it became my new favourite flavour. The best analogy to the taste I can think of is citrus 5-Alive fruit juice - it had that lovely tang on the tongue, so thirst-quenching after a hard workout.

So if you are wondering what the Tropical Punch was like, I highly recommend it. I know I will be getting more of that flavour next time I order. Thanks to First Endurance for exceeding my expectations once again.

Ultragen is ROCK SOLID Review by Laura Overall
I love this stuff. Not only does it taste like a milkshake it's good for you, helps you recover AND sustains you on a long workout.

I used Ultragen prerace the other day because I wasn't that hungry, but knew I needed something in my belly! It was PERFECT! I also had some EFS to hydrate pre race and it all worked out great!

Post Work Out Treat! Review by Anne Overall
I spent my first two triathlon seasons churning out the miles and not paying attention to proper recovery.

As a busy working mom of 2 active little boys, I didn't think that I had time for recovery until I discovered Ultragen.

Now, my favorite part of a long workout out is drinking my Ultragen, which leaves me feeling full (instead of snacking on garbage) and my body feels refresh, ready for the next workout. Great product! (Posted on 3/28/11)
Essential for Recovery Review by Beth Overall
I am training for a long distance cycling event. It is essential that I recover quickly. I put Cappuccino into my post race smoothie. It is so helpful. No more delayed onset muscle soreness like before. The taste is fantastic and easy to digest even after the hardest of workouts. There are a lot of recovery products out there, and I have tried them. Ultragen is simply the best. Essential for anyone who participates in endurance training. The real training doesn't begin until recovery starts. Ultragen is an essential part of my training! Double workout? Hard training block? Get yourself a PR! Review by Christopher Overall
I stumbled upon this product last year. I use the Cappuccino flavor and absolutely love it. I typically won't use it on workouts shorter than an hour, but when I do longer efforts of riding or running I make sure to take two scoops within 20 minutes of finishing the workout. The great thing about this product is that if I'm at a race I can put scoops in an empty water bottle, grab a bottle of water at the finish and dump it into the water bottle to mix. I've found that it tastes just as good using plain cold water than it would mixing with milk.

I credit this product to helping me to a marathon PR last year. I was able to do two hard workouts during the week and still recovery for my long runs over the weekend. (Posted on 3/18/11)
I Train For Cappuccino Ultragen Review by Kelly Overall
Okay, so we all know about the benefits of a recovery drink and Ultragen meets and exceeds all expectations when it comes to the science of recovery drinks. But where Ultragen goes over the top, beyond anything we could ever dream, is in taste.

Sometimes before I start a training session I think about my cappuccino Ultragen and the thought of that creamy goodness after my training session is enough to get me moving!

Is it wrong to love my recovery drink so much? (Posted on 3/17/11)
Keeps me ticking Review by Kristin Overall
Last year was my first year to really grasp the idea of using products for energy and recovery. Frankly had no clue about it till my friends were able to bounce back and I was left behind with NO go power from previous workouts. After experimenting with my recovery fuel I never quite had it right, but it "got me by". THEN I FOUND ULTRAGEN. It came highly suggested by a friend that kicking by butt. And presto I was saved!!

I couldn't imagine my work-outs with out it. There have been plenty of times where I just put it off because of being too busy or "that wasn't hard enough". NO I SUFFERED and BAM!! right when i consummed the product the next day I was ready to go again...what was I thinking. You can just feel the difference in how your body responds after consumption. I don't think I could do any workout or race without it. You shouldn't either!!!

Oh and by the way. Those friends that were schooling me...hehehe the tables have turned for sure!! Thanks First Endurance and Ultragen :-) (Posted on 3/16/11)
Love the Cappucino Review by Jessi Overall
I have tried several recovery products over the years, and the biggest hurdle I have faced is the taste. If it doesn't taste good, it doesn't matter if it works... I find myself reluctant to drink it and/or finish it.

Not only do I love how well this product works, but I am entirely impressed with the flavor which leaves me wanting more! (Posted on 3/15/11)
Awesome but where's the other flavors??? Review by rhaden Overall
I love the Cappucciono and the Orange Creamsicle and have never tried Fruit Punch.
What happend to these 2 other flavors??
Love your PRODUCTS!! (Posted on 3/15/11)
Great Product and Tastes Amazing! Review by Kacie Overall
As my training has increased in volume and intensity, I have a hard time getting in the proper fuel when I am done. I find that this ends up working against me, because I am tired the next day, which impacts the next workout (and I get stuck in this cycle!). I ordered some ultragen, and I have used it consistently. I think that it really works. I feel less sore, it doesn't bother my stomach after a hard effort, and it tastes great. I have used it alone, and I have combined it in the blender with a little fruit. The cappuccino flavor is fantastic. My husband, who is a cyclist (who does not like coffee anything) took a sip of mine cappuccino flavored recovery drink, and promptly made his own. Great product! (Posted on 3/14/11)
My post workout treat Review by Colleen Overall
I kept reading about so many people who raved about the cappuccino Ultragen, swearing by the power of it. As a fan of chocolate milk as my recovery drink, I was a bit skeptical. I have only used it twice now after two very hard workouts and I'm on the bandwagon! Not only is it a total treat in terms of taste (and so easy - just mix with water), it gave me the boost I needed to recover faster and stronger. Can't wait for my long workouts so that I can enjoy my Ultragen shake! (Posted on 3/14/11)
Best Recovery Review by Mandy Overall
I am a huge fan of Ultragen, my favorite flavor is the Cappuccino.

It is quick and easy, tastes fantastic, and really works. I like how how well it mixes with water - I can't do milk after a workout, it just doesn't sit well with me. When I am at the pool, I fill a shaker cup with a few scoops of Ultragen before I leave and then after a big swim workout, fill it with water, shake and head out. It really keeps that post workout hunger down too, which I usually have if I don't have my Ultragen.

I always drink this after any tough workout, it helps keep me from getting sore and leaves me ready to go for the next workout on tap the next day. No sluggish tired legs the next day. The stuff is awesome.

Fantastic Review by Meredith Overall
I'm a busy mom of a toddler, little time to "recover". Ultragen allows me to walk in the door, grab a glass, milk and mix in the powder!! The only downfall is it leaves me wanting more!

Additionally, I truly feel as though it helps me recover. I trained a ton during Ironman training and I never used a recovery tool......and I think I suffered (tons of muscle aches, etc).

Ultragen allows me to get the recovery I need and keeps me full/energetic for my continuous "toddler workout" during the day!!!

Luv me some Orange Creamsicle Review by Anthony Overall
I've used Ultragen to recover/prepare for IM training over the last year or so. I've always been a huge fan of the way it recharges the legs for long Saturdays and Sundays. I don't have a lot of time so training hard when I do have time its important to get the most out of it. Ultragen always delivers. Now with the new Orange Creamsicle flavor, I really can't wait to start recovering. (Posted on 3/8/11)
Cappiccuino ROCKS Review by Kati Overall
I hate to admit that I train to eat, but I do and I definitely train to earn my recovery shakes. I love that I don't have to mix it with milk, which (straight milk) doesn't sit well on my stomach. It's easy to take along to a race, just bring the powder and grab a bottle of water and mix it up! I have also used a 1/2 bottle as a pre-swim breakfast, when you pair it with a banana it's a great start to an early am swim! (Posted on 3/6/11)
Move Over Sliced Bread Review by Jeff Vanis Overall
Ultragen has been my first experience with First Endurance products, and I am excited to try some more. Finally a product that lives up to its claims, and does not taste like chalk in the process. Mixes well with water and still tastes good (great for races or when you cannot keep milk cold), tastes amazing at lease the cappuccino flavor I have tried, and it WORKS! I am finding I recover quicker by supplying the nutrients needed to replenish and rebuild.

Healhiest Milkshake ever! Review by Cooper Tri Machine Overall
Received my first order of Ultragen Recovery Drink! One of the best tasting products out there. It’s like a milk Shake dessert!! I look forward to my workouts just so I can have my Ultragen afterward. I'm not looking for the desserts either because I feel like I'm already having it. My body is really responding to it as well and improvements are quite marked. Thank you for an awesome combination of effectiveness and flavor! (Posted on 2/27/11)
Ultragen is Fantastic! Review by Jeff Irvin Overall
I've been using Cappucino Ultragen for over a year during my HIM and IM training. Two weeks ago I ran out and forgot to reorder. I did not truly appreciate how much Ultragen helped with my recovery until it was gone. I will never let that happen again as I was all type of sore and tired. Ultragen is the best recovery product period! (Posted on 2/22/11)
Ultragen = AWESOME Review by Joel Strickland Overall
Before 2010, I had never used any First Endurance products. Now I am a true convert. Ultragen is by far the best thing I have ever put into my body to help me recover from long or difficult workouts. After incorporating Ultragen into my nutrition, I generally never ever have latent soreness or muscle exhausion following workouts, whereas without using Ultragen the same workouts would leave me sore and tired for days. The cappuccino flavor is amazing - my favorite summer recovery drink is an Ultragen smoothie. I mix 2 scoops Ultragen, water and ice in a blender. Tastes exactly like a drink from Starbucks but so much better for you... Great, great stuff. I HIGHLY recommend it. (Posted on 2/17/11)

I can't train without it! Review by Jodie Overall
I can tell if I don't use Ultragen recovery drink. Bottom line is that I don't recover as well and my next-day workout is not nearly as good if I don't use it. It also tastes great! I am 39 years old with a full time job and three kids, so in order to train for and compete in ironman-distance races, I need to recover quickly! This stuff gets it done for me! (Posted on 2/12/11)
Fountain of Youth Review by Br Sebastian Overall
I am 59 years old. Soreness and fatigue stay with me for me for days. After a prolonged basketball workout I was totally shot. I took Ultragen and woke up the next day with absolutely no soreness or discomfort.
I haven't felt this good in ten years.
This product is miraculous. (Posted on 2/11/11)
Best Recovery tool out there Review by CamDyeTri Overall
Simply put this stuff is the absolute best for recovery after a strenuous workout. It provides the needed recovery for your body to hit the next session and keep your intensity up. Not to mention all three flavors are amazing, especially the orange creamsicle! Paired with an ice bath this stuff is like kryptonite for muscle fatigue and soreness. (Posted on 2/4/11)
Never go without it! Review by Renne Overall
This is one of the most important tools I have for training and racing. Hands down the highest quality recovery drink I have used. I can do a very hard session, drink this, and do my 2nd session of the day at 100% and get up the next day and the next and do the same thing. Nothing has come close to working this well. Makes a great smoothie Review by Richie Overall
The Cappucino Ultragen is great. It tastes a lot like chocolate milk - my favorite. I've been making smoothies with it after my long rides by throwing some ice, ultragen, milk and a banana in the blender. I've also found it to be a good food substitute when I don't have time to digest real food between training sessions. (Posted on 1/18/11)
The Best in Recovery! Review by Snak Snak Overall
No other product out there compares to Ultragen. It's the only recovery I reach for after an intense training session or race. I will also use it during endurance racing lasting 6 hours or more with fantastic results. Ultragen has always left me feeling fresh day in and day out. Besides, it's just plain delicious to guzzle down. Cappuccino owns! (Posted on 1/17/11)

Critical Part of my Training Plan! Review by Eric Limkemann Overall
I use Ultragen (Cappiccino!) after every key workout to make sure that I'm getting the most out of each one. I feel better the next day and am able to keep my intensity levels high day in and day out. I actually start craving this stuff toward the end of really tough workouts! (Posted on 1/12/11)

Tastes great, works even better Review by Mathew Overall
Ultragen is not only the best working recovery drink, but also the best tasting. The best protein source and amino acid profile available combined with natural flavors and full spectrum of vitamins necessary for muscle recovery. Combine with Optygen for a one-two punch that’s unbeatable. (Posted on 12/23/10)

6 years strong Review by Krissy Overall
In training for my first 100 mile trail race I had the opportunity to preview the Wasatch 100 course with none other than the Speedgoat himself, Karl Meltzer. In our 3 days of running more that 60 miles of the course he shared Ultragen with me and I was amazed at how my body bounced back each day for the continuing miles. 6 years, 11 100 milers and many additional ultra races and adventure runs since and I am completely hooked on Ultragen. In fact I crave it on the home stretch of every run and look forward to that bottle even before changing out of my running clothes. This is a product that is tried, true and proven for me. sore no more Review by Alan Overall
I mean wow. I have tried everything and just haven't been able to settle on a single product as I would mix and mash everything to find something that was truly superior and I have finally been able to stop searching. They are 100% behind their product and I am to as this really is the best. I can't recover like I use to when I was 17, but Ultragen makes me recover that way. (Posted on 11/11/10)
Brings you back from the dead! Review by Dave Hatridge Overall
I stole some of my buddies Ultragen last week after we did a 120 mile ride. Couldn't believe how good I felt after taking it. I felt great doing another 50 miles the following day. The reason I'm typing this now is because I'm ordering my own stash now. (Posted on 11/9/10)
Amazing recovery Review by Steve Overall
This product flat out works! I am 44 years old and I am usually in the top of my age group in races. I attribute much of that to this product. It puts back the "good stuff" I need to bounce back after a training session. It fills me up and truly makes me feel like my tank is full again. My muscles crave this stuff after a hard effort and it has positively impacted my ability to recover. Especially since I am not 25 anymore. The cappuccino flavor is downright addictive. If you need to recover after training, then you need this stuff. (Posted on 11/8/10)

Research has shown there’s a critical thirty-minute glycogen window (called the “window of opportunity”) immediately following exercise when insulin sensitivity is at its highest and exhausted muscles essentially open the door to nutrients. If nutrients are not absorbed quickly enough, however, this opportunity for maximum restoration is lost. But it’s not just when nutrients are absorbed, it’s also about which nutrients are available. The body requires more than just sugar and protein to fully recover, so recovery is limited without a precise balance of nutrients. Ultragen delivers 60g of glucose, because clinical studies show that high glycemic carbohydrates taken after exercise create a catalyst, which increases the uptake of essential nutrients into exhausted muscle. In addition, Ultragen offers a synergistic blend of vitamins, minerals, co-factors, glutamine and BCAA’s specifically designed to modulate the damaging effects of cortisol brought on by intense endurance training. The Ultragen formula is designed to be fully absorbed within the essential thirty minute glocygen window, when the body is primed to absorb nutrients. Ultragen contains special proteins (Whey Protein Isolate and Hydrolyzed Whey Protein) that meet the unique requirements of endurance athletes. Fast acting Whey Protein Isolate delivers high levels of anti-catabolic branch chain amino acids. Hydrolyzed Protein is enzymatically predigested in small, easy to digest, di- and tri-peptide chains that are quickly absorbed for muscular recovery. This is important because small molecule proteins are superior to the larger, hard to digest Whey Protein Concentrates that are used in most recovery products. The special proteins in Ultragen are absorbed faster and easier assuring you maximize recovery during the critical thirty-minute glycogen “window of opportunity”. The result: quicker recovery, improved endurance and the ability to race at a higher level.

Ultragen is designed to be absorbed quickly. For maximum recovery, mix Ultragen with water and consume immediately after exercise. Mixing Ultragen with anything besides water and/or consuming other foods during the first thirty minutes after exercise will slow down absorption. Thirty minutes after using Ultragen you should drink and/or eat something else.

Use Directions: Mix two scoops with 12fl. Oz of water immediately following long or exhaustive exercise.
Easy to use: Spoon mixable all natural formula is completely instantized so you don't have to fight clumps.

Why should I use Ultragen? How does Ultragen work? What is the 30-minute glycogen window of opportunity? When should I use take Ultragen? What kind of proteins are in Ultragen? Why don’t you use soy protein? What are high-glycemic carbohydrates and why are they important? What does L-Glutamine do? Why are BCAAs important for endurance athletes? I’ve heard it’s important for endurance athletes to have higher levels of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Is this true? It seems like the trend these days for ¨during¨ drinks is low-glycemic is that just hype or what? Do I need to use a shaker to mix Ultragen? Is there a time when I should consume low-glycemic food? What flavors are available? Is Ultragen legal? How many servings are there in a container of Ultragen? Can I take Ultragen during racing and training?

Q: Why should I use Ultragen?

A: Each serving of Ultragen delivers clinically effective doses of the most advanced proteins available, the fastest-acting carbohydrates, glutamine, BCAAs, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and electrolytes. In addition, Ultragen integrates the latest nutritional technology in order to maximize recovery and provide the right nutrients to the right place during the 30-minute ‘Window of Opportunity’ following exercise. Nothing else on the market even comes close.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: How does Ultragen work?

A: Ultragen’s many components are designed to work synergistically in order to fully maximize recovery, providing clinically effective doses of the right nutrients to the right place at the right time. Click here for additional detail "How Ultragen Works"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What is the 30-minute glycogen window of opportunity?

A: Research has shown that there is a critical thirty-minute glycogen window (called the “window of opportunity”) immediately following exercise when insulin sensitivity is at its highest and exhausted muscles essentially open the door to nutrients. In order to maximize this opportunity it is critical to use fast sugars like dextrose which help shuttle nutrients nutrients into the cell. It is equally important to make sure all ingredients are absorbed quickly.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: When should I use take Ultragen?

A: Immediately after a hard day of training or racing. Ultragen integrates the latest nutritional technology in order to maximize recovery and provide the right nutrients to the right place during the 30-minute ‘Window of Opportunity’ following exercise.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What kind of proteins are in Ultragen?

A: Ultragen is formulated using a unique time-responsive protein matrix to maximize absorption through the entire spectrum of recovery time. Whey Protein Hydrolysate (WPH) is a pre-digested, small molecular weight complete protein and the fastest protein absorbed due to its small size and pre-digested peptide chains. Ion exchange Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) is also a low molecular weight protein, absorbed more slowly than WPH. Milk Protein Isolate (MPI), fully absorbable due to the unique quality of its isolate (which removes carbohydrates and fats), is absorbed more slowly than both WPH and WPI. Combining these three proteins allows the faster WPH and WPI to be absorbed during that critical first 30 minutes, and the slower MPI to remain and deliver the appropriate building blocks for slower processes. For more detail on Protein and what it means to endurance athletes, visit our Protein Newsletter at www.firstendurance.com/newsletter.html

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Why don’t you use soy protein?

A: Though Soy Protein Isolate is a high quality protein, some athletes are weary of isoflavones found in Soy. These Isoflavones have some estrogenic activity that some male athletes shy away from. Using PER and BV, two measures of a protein’s effectiveness, Whey scores higher on both marks. For more detail visit our Protein Newsletter www.firstendurance.com/newsletter.html

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What are high-glycemic carbohydrates and why are they important?

A: Based on a 50g-portion size, the glycemic index(GI) of a carbohydrate represents the magnitude

of the increase in blood sugar that occurs after ingestion of the carbohydrate. What glycemic index does not define is the portion size of the carbohydrate meal ingested (whether the portion size is 5g or 500g GI is not affected), but portion size can affect blood sugar. Carbohydrates with a higher GI cause a higher rush of sugar into your blood than carbohydrates with low GI. Elevated blood sugar causes insulin to be secreted to help modulate the sugar and subsequent sugar crash follows. Glycemic Load measures the GI multiplied by the total carbohydrate content giving a more practical and accurate determination of blood sugar response.

For more detail on how to use GI for endurance training visit our Carbohydrate Newsletter at www.firstendurance.com/newsletter.html

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What does L-Glutamine do?

A: Glutamine is an amino acid that supports glycogen and protein synthesis and increases nitrogen retention. At a clinically effective dose of 6G, Glutamine is essential for muscle tissue repair and recovery. For more detail on Glutamine and what it means to endurance athletes visit our Glutamine newsletter at www.firstendurance.com/newsletter.html

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Why are BCAAs important for endurance athletes?

A: BCAAs are the building blocks of the body. They are important for muscle growth & recuperation. In addition to building cells and repairing muscle tissue, BCAAs form antibodies that combat invading bacteria & viruses. Your body cannot manufacture its own BCAAs so they must be supplied through your diet and supplementation routine. BCAA’s also combat ‘central fatigue’ brought on by an imbalance of BCAA’s to Tryptophan ratio. It is this imbalance that causes you to feel tired and lethargic following long hard efforts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: I’ve heard it’s important for endurance athletes to have higher levels of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Is this true?

A: Absolutely. Athletes, especially endurance athletes, need higher levels of specific vitamins, minerals and electrolytes to help restore energy levels, fight free radicals and maintain a healthy immune system. Keeping in mind that free radicals have one or more unpaired electrons, an antioxidant is a nutrient that offers an electron-rich binding site for these damaging oxidants, giving them a preferential site to bind to and pair up with missing electrons. So even though it seems like simple breathing is not healthy, the oxidation damage caused by the air we take in can be overcome with proper antioxidant protection. Supplements like vitamins C & E and selenium also offer sites for antioxidation, thereby reducing the damage from oxidative stress. You probably recognize now that oxidative stress is unavoidable as a living human, but of special concern to us as endurance athletes -- cycling on long roads, running trails and swimming in the open water - is the greater oxygen demand we face, which compounds normal cell damage.

For more detail on Antioxidants and what they mean to endurance athletes, visit our Antioxidant newsletter at: www.firstendurance.com/newsletter.html

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: It seems like the trend these days for ¨during¨ drinks is low-glycemic is that just hype or what?

A: By definition, low glycemic means there is not a rush of sugar into the blood stream. Low- glycemic foods may work well during a ride if you are well below your threshold. This steady slow release of sugar into the blood stream may actually slow gastric emptying and cause both gastric distress AND dehydration. As your HR increases and you get further into your ride, your body needs glucose (normally it will take this glucose from stored glycogen). As your glycogen is depleted, you either feed the working muscles glucose directly from what’s in your blood. Or your body starts burning stored protein and fat. If you force your body to burn stored protein and fat, you will quickly diminish your exercise capacity and increase your lactic acid accumulation. You must feed your body glucose so it is quickly absorbed and quickly available in your blood stream to use as fuel. This is why we don’t recommend Ultragen early in your ride OR on long easy rides where your HR is well below threshold. In the latter part of a ride or an hour before a sprint finish or hill finish, Ultragen works like a dream. Not only is 100% of the sugar from glucose (dextrose), all the other ingredients including our low molecular weight proteins, glutamine, BCAA’s and electrolytes are designed to be digested very fast. So, not only are you getting the glucose you need, you are also replenishing all the other key nutrients that can diminish your capacity to exercise. And, because everything is digested so easily and quickly you don’t get gastric distress or that heavy feeling in your gut.

Try a serving of Ultragen with an hour to go on your next long ride and see how you feel on the home stretch.

Q: Do I need to use a shaker to mix Ultragen?

A: Ultragen is engineered using agglomeration technology making it spoon-mixable. The fact that Ultragen mixes so easily is a direct indication of absorption and digestibility. Basically it does the same thing in your stomach. Products that clump when mixing don’t digest well and can hinder both water and nutrient digestion.

Q: Is there a time when I should consume low-glycemic food?

A: Low glycemic is great as a pre-exercise meal, since it has the ability to stabilize blood sugar.

Q: Can I take Ultragen during racing and training?

A: The proteins, glutamine, BCAA’s and electrolytes in Ultragen will fuel your body with what it needs so you can finish strong in long races. The high calories, high glycemic carbs, fast proteins and high levels of all 5 electrolytes make Ultragen the best ‘during’ drink on the market, even though it's designed for post-recovery applications. Everything in Ultragen is absorbed super fast and hence very easily digested. Too many competitors try and develop complex carbohydrate mixes that have a number of different sugars and hence absorbed at different rates. Dextrose is the fastest absorbing sugar available. Ultragen has 100% dextrose as the carbohydrate source. You can drink the entire 12 ounces and not feel full during your ride.

We recommend you try taking a serving of Ultragen during the second half of your long workouts before using it in a race. I am confident you will be amazed at how much better you feel towards the end.
