    Comments:

For an older, heavier casual male rider like me, this is a perfect bike. The seat and front shocks make it extra comfortable and the riding position doesn't strain my arms, shoulders, or hands even on long rides. The eight gears are more than adequate for all the terrain I ride, including moderate dirt roads and trails/paths. The rack accommodates larger panniers so light shopping is easy. If this is your kind of riding, my three years on it says this is your bike.

    Comments:

First got one for my Wife, Townie 7 Internal hub in Hot Pink, my daughter fell in love with it so had to find another for my wife and got her an original Townie 8i Misty Moss color; then it was my turn and got the 8i pictured here. All are fun to ride and very comfortable. We are accessorizing them with racks, bags and lights. With my bad back this was a perfect choice.
